One A Day + Prayer is a daily Bible reading designed to build up the body of Christ. This study is sweet, short and simple. However, we know its results will have a powerful revolutionary effect on the members of Christ Body. You will never be the same!!! We look forward to your heart being ignited as you spend time in the Living Word of God. As a result of your growth and change, those around you will never be the same: family, classmates, co-workers, unchurched, and non-believers. This great change will be a result of your individual commitment to know Christ better and better.
So how does it work? One chapter a day of assigned Bible reading and 10 minutes of prayer and 10 minutes of meditation. Ask God like the Psalmist in Psalm 119: 18, “Open up my eyes, that you may behold Wonderful things from Thy law.” Ask God to do as He did in Luke 24: 45, “Then He opened their minds to understand the scriptures.” And finally, ask the Holy Spirit to “teach you all things,” John 14: 26.
What should the results look like?

We believe you will move from trainee to personal trainer, from sitting to serving, from pew potato to Kingdom builder, from wondering about your spiritual gifts to operating in your spiritual gifts.

Colossians 1: 9-10 NLT, “So we have continued praying for you ever since we first heard of about you. We ask God to give you a complete understanding of what He wants to do in your lives, and we ask Him to make you wise with spiritual wisdom. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, you will learn to know God better and better.”
